Abic Healthcare Services, Inc. is a home care agency based in Owings Mills, Maryland, providing compassionate, client-centered care to families across Baltimore City and the surrounding counties. We’re growing and looking for a skilled pediatric RN to join our team.
About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with pediatric experience to provide skilled nursing care to children in the home setting. You’ll work closely with families, physicians and our care team to deliver safe, high-quality care and help each child thrive at home.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in the home according to the physician’s plan of care
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ condition, vital signs and progress
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Provide wound care and other skilled procedures as needed
- Educate parents and caregivers on the child’s care, medications and safety
- Communicate changes in condition to physicians, families and the agency promptly
- Document visits and care accurately and on time
- Supervise and support caregivers as assigned
- Follow agency policies, Maryland (COMAR) regulations and HIPAA requirements
Requirements
- Active Maryland RN license (or compact license valid in Maryland)
- At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience, including pediatric direct patient care within the last 3 years
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong assessment, communication and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Preferred
- Home health or private duty nursing experience
- Experience with children with complex or chronic medical needs
Compensation: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
